Chapter 12 - West Penwith Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA )

For many years Mulfra Farm has been in the ESA. As well as getting a payment for 200 acres on Mulfra Hill, on which we have common rights, we also get paid for keeping to certain rules to protect and preserve features, and to farm within ESA guide- lines. Grants are payable for this and we have been able to enter into several schemes; most recently under the guidance of Richard Glasson (Project Officer), whose help and knowledge has proved invaluable and to whom we offer our sincere thanks.
