Chapter 16 - Mud

It has been wet and terribly muddy now for so long that even the plan to move the silage ring to the hard standing at the top of the mowhay (top yard) has had to be abandoned because the cows are bringing the mud down from the field. It wouldn’t be so bad if we knew where the silage was coming from to put in it !!!!

The outcome of this was that we found another good source of silage from Steve who kept us going through the winter, and Hannah and family looked after the place while we were away.
