Chapter 24 - Footnote!!!

I have always wanted to write and dreamt that in my old age I would sit out in the front porch and write a book. However Barbara came along with the Farming Families project and I have been propelled into writing a little sooner than I intended to!
The hardest thing has been trying to find enough hours at a stretch to really get down to write, the lack of a subject to write about has been no problem at all, actually the reverse. I have scribbled pages and pages of notes and with the encouragement of Barbara and Pauline produced, I hope, some idea of life at Mulfra Farm.
To have these articles in an art gallery may seem rather strange but on reflection, instead of creating a picture in oils or watercolour, I have painted a picture with words.
